Pioneer Sergei Eisenstein’s film about the October Revolution is so realistic that many thought that October (1928) was a genuine documentary. The film uses revolutionary editing techniques to relate the dramatic events starting with Lenin’s return and culminating in the fall of the Romanovs.

For the 100th anniversary of the revolution, the movie will be screened in Bozar with a new soundtrack by granvat’s Matsenoto. They will present their mix of electronics and live instruments with a wink to Shostakovich original score ‘October’.
