Ghent jazz festival awarded HOERA. with a great price and opportunity. This leads to a new project together with the Belgian producer Roman Hiele. The own recordings of the world-renowned Lithuanian Jauna Muzika chamber choir from Vilnius serve as the motive in this entirely new ‘émimo’ project. The dialogue between Hiele and Hoera. tests the limits of the 24-person choir’s world of sound and together, they weave the choral compositions into new material and sounds. Both intimate acoustics and the modernity of sonorous electronica can be found in ‘émimo’. Hoera. Feat. Hiele creates a world where you become wonderfully lost among the songs. Entering a melodic universe that colors the world in music. A world in which a gentle breeze of intimacy, and a hybrid mix of improvisation and electronica awaits you.

For the recording of this album, Bert, Stijn & Dries went to a little village called Bigonville. With a “summer holidays are coming” feeling, and surrounded by birds, trees and hills, this music was played….. and everybody was happy.
